  TLA Prepares Students for the Real World

The mission of Teen Leaders of America (TLA) is to empower youth to face the challenges of the 21st century by providing students with the life and leadership skills necessary to get into college, graduate and select rewarding careers. TLA provides programs and services in the areas of Youth Leadership & Development, College Coaching and Workforce Development to middle and high school students in grades 7 through 12.

 

Teen Leaders is open to any student with a desire to succeed regardless of race, gender or economic status.

It's a new year and we have great expectations for our Teen Leaders of America (TLA) programming this year!  Thank you to all who continue to support our organization!  We are now gearing up for our 2010 projects.  Listed below are our current projects for 2010.  Please review our current projects as we will need volunteers and supporters for each:

  TLA Spotlight Teen

Tiffany Ward participated in the TLA program for 3 years during high school.  She was an outstanding TLA student!  TLA would like to spotlight Tiffany because of her determination and perseverance to succeed through many challenges.  In the Fall of 2009, Tiffany was accepted at Florida A&M University (FAMU).  She currently attends FAMU and plans to pursue a career in Education.  We love you Tiffany!!!
